On the SETTINGS tab click SYSTEM AUDIO SETTINGS at the bottom of the window. This will open the Windows audio control panel.
Notice that the Digital Power Station device is automatically selected as Default Playback Device when Bongiovi DPS is launched.
DPS has no effect on the Default Communications Device.
If an application requires selection of audio output you must select Digital Power Station (Speakers) in that application’s preferences to hear the DPS effect.
Here are the settings you should use for Skype and other chat applications:
- Skype audio input – Your microphone or webcam driver.
- Skype audio output – Digital Power Station driver or Default Playback Device.
- Bongiovi DPS audio output – Your speakers or headphones hardware device driver
NOTE:
- The Digital Power Station driver is automatically set as the Default Playback Device when DPS is launched.
- The last used hardware device is automatically set as Default Playback Device when DPS is quit.
Notice that the DPSReflector device is automatically selected as Default Output. If DPSReflector is not selected, then Bongiovi DPS is not processing audio for your Mac.
