Tony Bongivovi, designer and founder of the world famous Power Station Studios remembers Whitney Houston tenderly. When she recorded at his studio he told her how he hired her mother Cissy Houston and her group the Sweet Inspirations to sing back up on a Gloria Gaynor record Bongiovi produced. Tony recalls asking Whitney, a fellow New Jersey native, how she liked the studio and she said she loved the way she sounded and how she could hear herself so well. She’s often sing with one headphone ear on and one off to enjoy the bright sound of the room at Power Station. “She will be missed by the music world for her remarkable voice,” said Bongiovi.
