The patented Digital Power Station technology is a unique digital signal processing method that substantially enhances sound quality in playback devices by compensating for deficiencies in useable frequencies, audio components, environments and room acoustics.
For the first time ever, the Bongiovi Acoustics Digital Power Station™ was unveiled consisting of the Bongiovi Acoustics KD-S100 car audio system manufactured by JVC Mobile Entertainment and a custom leather kit provided by Katzkin Leather loaded into a 2008 base model Scion xB provided by Fletcher Jones Toyota/Scion of Las Vegas, NV.
A live exhibition of the KD-S100 car audio system was demonstrated on Wednesday, January 9 at 12:00 PM at the CNET Car Tech North Hall Stage. This event was filmed and broadcast by CNET, the official media outlet for CES as part of the CNET Car Tech exhibition. The demonstration consisted of an installation of the KD-S100 in a stock 2008 Scion xB, a complete system demonstration and a Question & Answer session with the technology’s inventor, legendary record producer and engineer, Tony Bongiovi.
The Digital Power Station technology will be demonstrated by appointment in a variety of consumer electronics including headphones, flat panel displays and 5.1 surround sound home theater systems as well as video gaming, medical, computer and IPOD accessory applications. Bongiovi Acoustics will also demonstrate its new compressed audio data file/MP3 playback solution.
