Don’t forget the SM7 was THE vocal mic for Michael Jackson on Thriller. Scott Stapp from Creed also prefers that mic. Though it usually isn’t delicate enough for female vocals it has always worked for me on dudes!
Wow I did not know MJ used that on Thriller! Amazing sounding! It is the defacto standard just like Ryan said.
