Just moved to one of the new Mac minis and when I try to activate DPS it says I have no activations left. Do I need to get a subscription for this new Mac?
Thanks for the info! I knew it was a Core Audio glitch, and I’m thrilled that Apple has corrected it for Yosemite.
On Mavericks, the full-screen video in iTunes has a click/pop that sounds like the previous full-screen video glitch is trying to start, then it self-corrects. Has anyone else heard this?
I’ve found another oddity, which may be related. A podcast using the 5by5 player on this page has the same stuttering, so it must be connected to the video issue.
Initial testing says this version helps some issues. I was having the stutter issue with a Safari video (Vimeo player, it looked like) at http://howardcantour.com and this update stopped the stutter. The video sound stuttered and the player was not full screen.
When using full screen video in iTunes, I still experienced some effects, more like someone putting their hand over the speaker repeatedly than the stuttering – the volume seemed to fluctuate. Opened Audio Midi Setup and it was set for 24 bit, so I set it back to 32bit and the effect stopped. Then set it back to 24 bit and the effect was still gone.
I have noticed the full screen video “stutter.” It’s repeatable, at least on my system.
As I said, I’m currently using Memphis. I just wondered if there was an “official” profile for that device.
