Based on the lack of activity on this post (last DPS response 11/5/2020), the recent spate of unchecked forum spam, and lack of updates on the bongiovidps.com site (last blog post was 8/14/19), it’s probably safe to say that they’ve abandoned this product. Time to move on. I’ll likely move to Boom as well, once I replace my ancient 2014 MBP.

So far, I haven’t had any crashes with 2.2.3.1, although I haven’t used my Mac much for the past several days. I’ll update if I run into any.

It’d still be nice if the problem were identified & fixed though, especially considering Big Sur is releasing soon.

I can’t get DPS to work at all with 10.15.5 now. no matter how many times I kill coreaudiod or uninstall/reinstall DPS. Nobody’s responded to my ticket in the past month either.

Going to try rebooting to see if it helps, since 10.15.5 and 2.2.3.2 *used to* sort of work.

I initially tried that first, before resorting to killing coreaudiod. No dice. If I resync after killing coreaudiod, DPS crashes.

Now, I just kill coreaudiod, quit DPS, then restart DPS.

I’ve been running into the same problem on a 2014 Retina MBP running Catalina 10.15.4. It happens sporadically throughout the day. If I kill coreaudiod, quit & restart DPS, that generally fixes it for a bit.
