How do I get DPS to work?

I do not hear a test tone when using Setup Helper inOSX 10.8.5 Mountain Lion with output set to Built-In.

    Sound volume is not muted.

When I play with DPS Equalizer settings, it seems like DPS  is making changes, but it’s hard to be sure.

How can I confirm if DPS is working properly or not?

Let’s try testing without using the setup wizard:

    1. If DPS is running, quit it from the task bar menu.
    2. Play some music in iTunes and make sure the volume is where you can hear it.  Keep playing while we test…
    3. Open the Sound panel in System Preferences.
    4. Without DPS running, the Internal (Built-In) speakers should be highlighted in the Output tab.  Keep an eye on this window.
    5. Launch Digital Power Station.
    6. The DPSReflector should now be highlighted in the Output tab on the Sound preferences window.
    7. Open the DPS preferences from the task bar icon.
    8. Select Built-In from the Listening to: buttons.
    9. The Output Device should be set to Built-In Output.
    10. Click the big B button on the right.  If you can hear the sound change then DPS is working!

Let me know how this goes for you.

    It’s working. Thanks.
