Can you be more specific about what issues you are facing when installing DPS on your Mac?

I do recommend opening up a support ticket. However I can assist you here if you prefer.

Are you receiving an error message? Are you getting no sound? Is DPS not opening? What is happening?

Hey, I permitted the use of the microphone, and it worked!

I haven’t posted on this thread before, but I’ve had the same problems as everyone who has been writing here. I didn’t permit the microphone when first installing 2.2.0.9 because I didn’t think it necessary (and I don’t like opening up the mic), but now after allowing it, DPS is working

Great, I’m glad to hear you were able to get everything working properly. DPS does not use the Microphone, but MacOS 10.14 requires microphone permsission to allow DPS to access the audio stream.

Hey folks,

I waited to upgrade my late 2016 MBP to Mojave until last week. Knowing the issues folks have faced, I paid careful attention to the upgrade process. I allowed DPS access to the microphone and the upgrade went without a hitch. Mojave is a very nice upgrade! (yay dark mode)

I also use Adobe Audition and Audacity on this Mac. Both of those audio apps request access to the microphone. I suspect Apple added this new security feature to prevent nefarious apps from using the using the camera or mic to spy on users. It’s a good model that all of the browsers use anyway.

I’ll be pushing the OTA update of 2.2.1.1 this coming Monday. We will be keeping a careful eye on this upgrade process (like we always do) in case anyone experiences hiccups.

I finally found the issue in installing on my iMac using Mojave. Upon original installation, I did not enable the microphone. Subsequent de-installs and reinstalls left me with the error that is was running but not accessible.

Through trial and error, I went into
Systems Preferences -> Security and Privacy -> General

At the bottom of the screen is a line that says “Some system software was blocked from loading”. I then clicked the Allow button and noticed that DPS was being blocked. Checked the empty box, rebooted, then reinstalled DPS. It gave me the microphone access dialog box, which I enabled and it now works!

I apologize if this had been ID’d before, if so, somehow I missed it..

For most users there is no issue running DPS on Mojave. We have had a great deal of difficulty even reproducing the “Installed but not available issue” on our test machines. Please open a support ticket at BongioviDPS.com/account or email me directly at drice@bmtdps.com.

Now that time has passed to work out the DOS issues with Mojave, I am ready to download and reinstall and give it a go, I sure do miss the sound quality!

Where do I download the software, I did go into my account and download a VIP license key?

I assume its used somewhere, somehow?
