    So, does it make sense to enable soundcheck in iTunes? I think this some sort of “peak” gain, not the best, but it doesn’t hurt, right?

    Sorry for the late response. I like using Sound Check in iTunes to Image result for sound check iTunes to make song volume consistent.

    “Sound Check in iTunes is used to make all of your songs play at the same volume.”

    It doesn’t interfere with DPS’ processing.

    Thanks, so the only thing which should be disabled is the “optimize sound” option in iTunes?

    Quantum Leap,

    Yes, the Optimize Sound option performs some digital audio processing which would likely interfere with DPS functioning properly. The effect of this combination could range anywhere from pops and clicks, to a flange-like effect, or may even cause general massive distortion.
