I like Bongiovi DPS algorithm, but I would appreciate it even more if I’ll see these improvements on the software:
1) Hide the visible password from the “Activation” TAB in the software. Make something like… after logging in the account for activation, to say something like “Software activated. Thank you!”. No visible e-mail, NO visible password.
2) I would like to see 24 bit sound in settings. At 16 bit and 44100 HZ (CD quality) I have the impression that software is limiting my hardware capability. I have an Asus Maximus X hero motherboard with the best Realtek chip and I don’t like to see limits.
3) NO sound delays when processing. It is annoying when watching a movie to hear the sound a little delayed when people talk. Mouth and sound is not synchronized.
FX Sound Enhancer is a well known equalizer. I tried it and it has 24 bit sound and NO delays.
But I prefer Bongiovi DPS because it sounds somehow more natural and full.
Please improve the next software version with these 3 tips.

Thank you for taking the time to write us. I have passed your feedback up to our engineering team. There may be some application or OS limitations to what you are asking, but we do certainly appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks for the feedback. We have been aware of the limitations in our virtual audio driver for some time. But dealing with Windows at the driver level is no small task. It is in our roadmap this year to improve it and provide full support of the hardware’s sample rate and bit depth as well as improve the latency.
Just so you know, the audio processing inside our algorithm is full 32bit floating point precision. This (and the algorithm itself) goes a long way toward the full sound you hear.June 5, 2019 at 9:03 am #90755
Thanks for reply.
Waiting for the next improvement this year!June 26, 2019 at 3:59 am #91750
Now with DPS 126.96.36.199 I continuously get “driver not found” error. Done reinstalling, closing Skype etc.
The error is still present after booting in Windows.
I don’t like the new logo. The old one with the big B was better and clear. My opinion.July 30, 2021 at 3:06 pm #141696Dan RiceKeymaster
Please feel free to open a support ticket and I can help you there. The driver not found error can be caused by a number of factors. Do you have any audio programs running in the background while you are trying to install DPS? Please check your hidden icons area to verify that there is nothing running there. (This area is indicated by a ^ icon, found down in the system tray, near the clock.) Please also check in Device Manager, in “Sound, Video and Game Controllers” to make sure that the DPS virtual driver is installed properly, it may be necessary to uninstall it, then restart your computer and reinstall DPS. Here is a screenshot where you can see this.
