MemberI’m so sorry for wasting your time. It turns out that the Equalizer was just turned off, and all I needed to do was turn it on; I just assumed that since it was all grayed out, that the feature was unavailable in Blue Tooth mode. My music now sounds even better than it did in my old car since I’ve optimized my new Civic’s audio system to my liking. The new update looks pretty slick by the way. Keep up the great work!

MemberI have a request, or maybe it’s just a question. Currently the DPS does not affect the digital output on my iPhone 5. When I connect an outboard DAC to the Lightning connector and listen using the Bongiovi player, there is no effect on the output. I have a profile selected to the “dock out” setting, but it does not work. Is this a bug, a known issue, or am I doing something wrong? Or is it a feature that can be added to version 2.0? Thanks!

Keymasterdyohn,
Sorry for the late reply. DPS only processes the analog audio stream coming out of your device. The digital dock connection is not supported by DPS due to Apple restrictions.
Thanks!

MemberHow about a way to add lyrics that will pop up during playback?

MemberWould it be possible for DPS to obey song start / stop time settings as we’ve set them in iTunes? There are some songs I really like but have ridiculously long intros (I’m looking at you, Led Zeppelin) that I would rather skip. This can be done in iTunes but the information does not get picked up by DPS

Keymastersrvblooze,
I will submit these as requests to our team. Not sure if it is possible for DPS to obey song start / stop time settings from iTunes. Either way, I will pass this along as a feature request. Thanks!

ParticipantI’d like to see a profile for the 40 Watt IK Multimedia iLoud (desktop)speaker, both via the Built-Inn output and the Bluetooth connection. Please. Pretty please?

Keymasterturfstra,
I will add that to our request list. If we can get our hands on the device we will make a profile.
Thanks!

ParticipantHow is development of version 2 going? It has been in development for a long time with very few updates of progress. I’m excited to see it!

ParticipantI would like to see 5.1 support. I’m surprised nobody mentioned this. I love watching my movies in 5.1 and can just imagine how it would sound with DPS. They do sound awesome with DPS and my receiver in simulated surround but it just doesn’t sound the same as full surround.

Keymasterbubsdaddy,
There is currently not an option to delete unwanted profiles. Not sure if this will be something we add in future release or not. Thanks for the suggestion. We will consider this.
wxman123,
I will pass your suggestions along and I am thinking you will be pleased wit the EQ in the next major update. eel free to leave specifics for what you would like to see feature wise.
Thanks!

ParticipantMy feature suggestions:
- support more bitrates, e.g. 24-bit, 32-bit float
- support more sampling rates, e.g. 48 kHz, 96 kHz
- WASAPI support (stutters here)
- multichannel support
- downmixing support, e.g. 5.1 to stereo
- switch profiles by application URLs functions (or any other remote means)
- turn off DPS system tray notifications internally, not by OS means
Keep up the good work!

KeymasterHans,
Some of the features you mention already exist. Here is the Help topic for application URLs:
URLs for Mac <– Notice there is a URL for hiding the toolbar icon
Multiple sample rates are certainly on the list for DPS 2.0.
Currently DPS works using floating point math. So all bitrates are currently supported.
Multi channel support is also on the way but that will take some time.
