DPS 2.2.3.2 and MacOS10.15.4 Catalina problem

Hello everyone, how does it look, have you now received an update that fixes the errors? Is there perhaps someone here who uses Bongiovi dps on a Mac with an M1 chip and can report on their experiences?

I will be upgrading from macOS Catalina v.10.15.7 to Big Sur v.11.1 tomorrow and will watch how DPS v.2.2.5.1 functions.

I have Big Sur v.11.2.1 now and DPS v.2.2.5.1 still does not function properly.

Update, the best way for me to test DPS is to allow my Apple Music v.1.1.3.3 Songs library of 982 songs to play through the list all day every day to see if DPS acts up. I recently noticed that I lost sound but saw that somehow DPS was “Turned Off” and that was the issue. To be fair, DPS works most of the time and for several days now it has been working perfectly.
So, better news than I reported on February 11 !!

Situation: MacBook Pro 16 (i9,64GB,1TB), macOS 10.15.7 (Catalina), Bongiovi DPS Version 2.2.5.1
Problem: audio not working properly, i.e. working at times, but I can’t seem to find a systematic bias. This kind of problem seems to affect also other users (see messages in this forum).
Duration: since this MBP is in action (~1 yr)
Hardware of MBP: checked (e.g. EtreCheck); fully functional
Solution (according to recommendation in this forum): because it happens often I use an alias for the commandline in .zprofile (repairbongiovi=’sudo kextunload /Library/Extensions/DPSReflector.kext/; sudo kextload /Library/Extensions/DPSReflector.kext/’)
I do like Bongiovi DPS but this persisting behaviour is really annoying.
Any hint or promise for an update would be nice.

On December 29 I was charged for my Bongiovi DPS subscription renewal order but I will have to cancel my recurring subscription as since April 2020 Bongiovi DPS no longer worked for me.
I now have Big Sur v.11.2.3 but DPS v.2.2.5.1 still has not functioned properly so I was forced to try the Boom 3D for Mac trial version 1.3.11 and I will purchase it today as it works flawlessly and provides many adjustments and great sound.

Based on the lack of activity on this post (last DPS response 11/5/2020), the recent spate of unchecked forum spam, and lack of updates on the bongiovidps.com site (last blog post was 8/14/19), it’s probably safe to say that they’ve abandoned this product. Time to move on. I’ll likely move to Boom as well, once I replace my ancient 2014 MBP.

Thank you, luv-music and Jwise, for your thoughts on this. Indeed it seems to me that DPS Technology still hosts this forum, but eventually decided without notice to abandon the software. Thanks also for “Boom 3D”. I’ll have to move and will also warn other Mac users.
