Do you plan to release in the DPS 1.2.3 and DPS 2 – Device profiles for these audio-systems 2.1
Defender, Microlab, SVEN:Defender I-Wave 45
Microlab M880
SVEN MS-1090October 12, 2014 at 2:04 pm #63815xaqmusic
KeymasterWindows 7 NOTE: If you are getting a crash at startup, please try installing .NET 4.5 using this link.
We include a link to .NET 4 in the installer but that does not insure complete compatibility with DPS. This installer will download the appropriate files from Microsoft’s servers. We will include this link in the next installer.
ruslang: We will add these devices to our list of profile requests. What profiles are you using now for these devices? I can makes adjustments based on your recommendations.

MemberFound an interesting quirk with DPS a12 today. I was using DPS set to headphones and had a system crash. When I rebooted, DPS was set to external speakers instead of headphones. This seems a bit like the issue with the registry not being updated again, or is it by design?

KeymasterDPS saves into the registry when you switch modes (for eq and other parameters) and when you quit DPS (so it can start up where you left it). Since you had a crash, the current mode (headphones) was not saved as the startup mode and the last startup mode was recalled (external speakers).
Was the crash related to DPS?

MemberJoey:
Thanks for the explanation. Calling it a crash is a bit misleading. I had trouble with COD Ghosts crashing and freezing so I had to reboot to get out of it. I guess that’s more or less the same as a system crash. DPS a12 is behaving itself and I’m still using it exclusively. Any chance of getting music and movie profiles for Bose QC15’s? 🙂

KeymasterHey guys,
We are getting a new build together before the a12 timer runs out. There are just a few fixes in this one. Our efforts are focused on getting the new profile delivery system up and running. Then you will see the PROFILES tab populated.

MemberExcellent! Looking forward to the profiles being populated. A12 is still working fine here.

DPS 2.0 will be a free upgrade to anyone who has a DPS activation. What do you mean by RC?
And yes, we added your request for profiles to our list. We make these profiles by hand so it can take some time. Also, we need to have the device in our lab to tune. So we must get the device from the manufacturer or someone must send it to us for profiling.
