MemberI just did the uninstall using the one in the folder instead of in Control Panel. When I checked Device Manager, there are no DPS drivers. Guess all I can do at this point is give the reinstall another try.
UPDATE: Did a reinstall and got the driver not found error message again. When I look in DPS2.0>Driver I can see a driver there. It’s called digitalpower.sys.
Not sure where to go from here.
One last UPDATE for now. Did another uninstall/reinstall and there’s only one driver in Device Manager. When I start a11 now, I get the stopped working error again. I’ve come full circle and tried every permutation and combination. but nothing works.
For now, I’m going back to DPS 1.2.3 as running a10 doesn’t prove anything.
Just tried to run 1.2.3 and got an error message that no activations are available for my account. I’ve done a fair amount of reactivating during this testing, so looks like I’ve hit some kind of activation limit. I just reinstalled a10 and got the same activation error so, for now, I cannot use any version of DPS. I thought we covered this potential problem in a previous post.

MemberJoey fixed my activation problem (thank you Joey). To the other posters here, make sure you deactivate DPS before you uninstall it. If, like me you don’t, you eventually “use up” the number of activations allowed for your account.

MemberAnother interesting thing i noticed today
suppose If i haven’t brought the GUI to the front (from the starting of system) and then i try to turn off and then turn back on by right clicking the tray icon it shows that DPS is not activated http://s22.postimg.org/6n41gajk1/DPS.png but once i open the GUI and close it(not Quit) everything’s back to normal and i can change on and off using right clicking the tray icon

Keymasterriyaz: I have noted this issue and it is on the list.
Guys, I placed a new version of a11 with a fixed installer into the Dropbox. If DPS was installed on your system it will not try to install the driver again (thus preventing issues with double drivers). Please try this one out and let us know if you still have .NET or any of the other strange things we ran into with the last installer.
Thanks!

MemberHi Joey:
Just tried the update to a11 and got the message that it’s not working. Will try uninstalling etc. again to see what happens.
UPDATE: Uninstalled and reinstalled and still got the not working message.

KeymasterCan each of you tell me what language Windows was installed with on your computer?
Also, what version of .NET are you running? Here is a link that explains how to find this out.

MemberHi Joey:
Language is English. .NET is version 4.5.1 on Windows 8.1 64 bit. As a10 seems to be working for everyone, is there some major change in a11 that might account for this problem?
