Hi J have question about realtek driver should stay at 100 volume?

Yes, your output driver should be set to 100% for most cases. This is because the Digital Power Station driver becomes the default playback device while Bongiovi DPS is running.

When you control the volume on your computer, the Default Playback device is receiving the volume control. That is why we set the hardware device (in your case Realtek) to 100% when Bongiovi DPS starts. Volume control settings are transferred to Digital Power Station. You can learn more about how it works here.

If you do not want your Realtek driver to be set to 100% automatically, you can uncheck “Auto Adjust Volume” in the SETTINGS tab.

the new version of dps 2.2.6.1 has a problem after installing Bongiovi DPS.exe v 2.2.5.1 dc 12.2020, when checking the new version, it allegedly downloads the new 2.2.6.1, but it also ends up being 2.2.5.1 dc 12.2020

can make a new profile for the built-in speakers HP ALL-IN-ONE 22-df0xxx,
or is it better to use external speaker profiles?

I don’t think that’s a bug. The changes for the windows version are so minor (removed anonymous analytics; updated “Driver Not Found” error message) that they probably didn’t need to touch most files (maybe only the installer changed?) and so their versions remained the same.

The version number should certainly be different. While it is a minor change, it is likely something slipped through the cracks. We will get it sorted out today. I’ll keep you posted…

I’ve got DPS version 2.2.6.1 on Mac, running macOS 10.14.6 Mojave and just updated to
Safari 14.1 and after a bit of troubleshooting, it seems DPS is causing a audio flutter in Safari but not Chrome nor Firefox. It was there until I quit out of Bongiovi DPS. I see there is a version 2.2.6.2 for Windows, so maybe there is a need for a fix for macOS as well. Maybe some setting as a compromise needs adjustment. What do you suggest?

Today we are announcing the start of the End of Life (EOL) process for the Bongiovi DPS app for Mac and Windows. I know some of you have been with us for a very long time, and I can personally say it’s been a great ride to deliver this software experience to you!

However, as BAL’s business opportunities, operating systems, and ways folks use their computers change, we must adapt to the times.

BAL is certainly not going anywhere, and for the next year, we will be providing support according to the official announcement in the Support section.

While we are closing these forums, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via support ticket during this period. We will provide suggestions to keep the Bongiovi DPS app working on your computer as long as it remains compatible with your system.
