Dear nuke and other users who are upgrading to 18.104.22.168,
We are taking this issue seriously and are trying to reproduce the reported problems on our systems. We will be reporting our findings here in the forum.
If you lose sound, here is the easiest fix:
1 – Open System Preferences (Apple icon on top left)
2 – Choose Sound
3 – Select the Output tab.
4 – Choose your Internal Speakers or Headphones.
5 – Verify your audio is working by playing iTunes or something.
NOTE: If DPSReflector is selected when the DPS application is not running (not in your taskbar) you will have no sound! DPS normally handles this switching in the background but, as we can see, problems can occur.
