probably a problem with the combination of my music player (Swinsian) and DPS as YT songs sound fine on testing. Either of the 2 programs seems to work okay in isolation.

e: just had glitches with YT songs combined with DPS, not a Swinsian problem it would now appear. The frequency of audio glitches is less than with Swinsian, though.
