Some of the problem with network audio has to do with streaming vs file sharing. If a device is set up to share files (like the seagate example) then there is no audio stream for DPS to process. The processing must be handled on the device or player where the final audio is being played back.
Airplay is a bit easier now in OSX because it shows up as an audio output on the Mac. DPS can easily route audio to it for improved listening on the receiving device. This is an example of streaming.
What we need is Airplay to be available in Windows as an audio output device! Does anyone know of any third party apps that do this?
